Course Length: 1 Lap - 3km (Short-cut course 2km)
Course Width: 7m-4m (Starting point 30m / Finishing point 10m)
Course Surface: Wild Grass (one section is wood chipped) Guidance was received from the Japan Association of Athletics in establishing this course.
New Course: 1 lap – 1000m with a cultivated grass surface is currently being planned.
Course Elevation – Highest Point -1048m 　Lowest Point – 980m

Facilites to Promote Integration and Exchange,

Kaminoyama City council maintains these facilities and the three enterprises of: Exchange and Experience, Information Communication, and Direct Sales of Farm Products, in order to promote exchange between cities and rural areas and also to develop the main local industries of agriculture and tourism.

Training Room

Through weight training athletes can develop physical strength and prepare for competitive events. The facilities can also help with the promotion of sports, health, and fitness.

1 Lap – 400m 8 Tracks (Track surface - all-weather urethane. Playing Field surface - natural turf)
※ The playing field can be used for soccer matches. However, in summer vacation, approximately - July 20 - August 20, matches can’t be held due to the track being crowded with track and field training.

Multi-Purpose
Event Park

Sarukura event park is located just before Zao Plateau Bodaira, with multi-purpose spaces, for the likes of soccer, out door concerts, and shooting. Near the park there is a ski slope, which the whole family can enjoy. There are also restaurants serving specialty foods such as wild mountain vegetables and Mongolian mutton barbeque (known in Japanese as Genghis Khan Cuisine). It is a 25 minute drive from Kaminoyama City center. There is also a road connecting Sarukura to Zao Onsen, which takes about 20 minutes. We hope you enjoy this recreation area all year round.

Hot spring complex
for athletes

As well as a bathing area and authentic sauna, in order to provide post-training recovery and relief from fatigue, facilities also include a hot/cold contrast pool, a relaxation room, and an oxygen capsule.
